JELAJAHNEWS.ID – Penjabat (Pj) Sekretaris Daerah Provinsi (Sekdaprov) Sumut Effendy Pohan mengharapkan Taekwondo Indonesia (TI) terus memperbanyak pelaksanaan event-event pertandingan di Sumut. Selain untuk menyalurkan keinginan para atlet TI untuk bertanding, juga untuk mendorong lahirnya bibit-bibit unggul baru atlet TI dari Sumut.
“Ke depan diharapkan event-event pertandingan lebih ditingkatkan lagi, agar keinginan atlet untuk bertanding dapat disalurkan bagi atlet,” ucap Effendy Pohan, saat menghadiri Musyawarah Provinsi (Musprov) Pengurus Provinsi (Pengprov) TI Sumut Tahun 2025 yang berlangsung di Santika Premiere Dyandra Hotel Jalan Kapten Maulana Lubis Medan, Jumat (7/2/2025).
Mengenai Musprov TI Sumut Tahun 2025, Effendy mengucapkan selamat atas terselenggaranya acara tersebut. Diharapkan dengan Musprov ini nantinya dapat terpilih Ketua Umum Pengprov TI Sumut untuk memimpin roda organsisasi yang lebih baik lagi.
“Di masa pimpinan 10 tahun Pak Musa Rajekshah sudah nampak yang baik dari bibit atlet dan prestasi yang diperoleh. Dan ini harus lebih ditingkatkan lagi dengan ketua yang baru nantinya,” katanya, sembari menyampaikan, Pemprov Sumut terus mendukung semua kegiatan untuk memajukan Taekwondo di Sumut.
Sementara itu, Ketua Umum Pengprov TI Sumut Musa Rajekshah kesempatan itu menyampaikan terima kasih pada seluruh pihak yang telah membantu mengurus TI Sumut selama dua periode dalam kepemimpinannya.
“Apa yang telah baik dapat lebih ditingkatkan lagi. Pengurus selanjutnya dapat lebih menyempurnakan kembali kerja yang telah dilaksanakan,” ucap Musa Rajekshah.
Menurutnya, dalam organisasi yang dituntut adalah pengorbanan dan juga loyalitas dalam mengurus organisasi. Ia berharap, pada ketua yang terpilih nantinya dapat meneruskan kembali kerja organisasi untuk lebih baik lagi.
“Kepada KONI Sumut, yang terus membimbing terutama dalam PON XXI kemarin, kami ucapkan terima kasih. Kami telah berhasil meraih satu emas dan empat perunggu,” katanya.(jn/**)
