JELAJAHNEWS.ID – Satuan Penyelenggara Administrasi SIM (Satpasim) Polda Metro Jaya di Jalan Daan Mogot, Cengkareng, Jakarta Barat resmi mengubah lintasan ujian praktik sepeda motor hingga menjadi lebih mudah.
Kepala Korps Lalu Lintas (Kakorlantas) Polri Irjen Firman Shantyabudi menyebutkan, Lintasan yang dulunya menggunakan trek zig-zag hingga angka 8 kini menjadi Letter S.
“Kita menerima masukan dari masyarakat bahwa ujian dengan metode angka 8 dirasakan cukup menyulitkan,” ujarnya, Jumat (4 Agustus 2023).
Sebelumnya, Kepala Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia (Kapolri) Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo meminta jajarannya mempermudah proses ujian praktik pembuatan Surat Izin Mengemudi (SIM).
Hal ini disampaikan Sigit dalam Upacara Wisuda STIK Tahun 2023 yang digelar, Rabu (21/6/2023).
“Saya minta Kakorlantas tolong untuk lakukan perbaikan, yang namanya angka 8 itu masih sesuai atau tidak, yang melewati zig-zag itu sesuai atau tidak. Kalau sudah tidak relevan tolong diperbaiki,” kata Sigit.
Sigit juga memerintahkan agar proses ujian SIM bisa fokus terhadap keterampilan pengendara saat berkendara dan keselamatan para pengguna jalan.
“Jangan terkesan bahwa pembuatan ujiannya khususnya praktik ini hanya untuk mempersulit dan ujung-ujungnya di bawah meja. Enggak tes, malah lulus. Ini harus dihilangkan,” katanya.(**/jn)
