Presiden Jokowi Ajak Pemimpin Negara Hentikan Perang

JELAJAHNEWS.ID – Presiden RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menyerukan kepada para pemimpin negara untuk berani melakukan revolusi besar agar perang dapat dihentikan dan dihindari untuk menciptakan perdamaian dunia. Presiden Jokowi menilai perang pada akhirnya hanya akan mengorbankan rakyat.

Hal tersebut ditegaskan Presiden dalam menyampaikan pandangannya pada Konferensi Tingkat Tinggi (KTT) G7 sesi kesembilan dengan topik menuju dunia yang damai, stabil, dan sejahtera, yang digelar di Hotel Grand Prince, Hiroshima, Jepang, Minggu (21/05/2023).

“Sebagai pemimpin kita harus punya keberanian dan kemauan melakukan revolusi besar untuk bawa perubahan dan perbaikan agar perang dapat dihentikan,” ucap Presiden.

Kepala Negara menyebut bahwa semua pihak menginginkan dunia yang damai, stabil, dan sejahtera. Namun, keadaan yang ada pada saat ini tidak selaras dengan hal tersebut.

“Distrust makin tebal, rivalitas makin meruncing, perang dan konflik masih terjadi di mana-mana,” imbuhnya.

Selain itu, di tengah berbagai macam krisis dunia yang makin mengkhawatirkan, Presiden Jokowi memandang bahwa upaya bersama yang dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan perang belum menunjukan perkembangan yang signifikan.

Dalam pernyataan penutup, Presiden menegaskan bahwa perdamaian, stabilitas, dan kemakmuran adalah tanggung jawab dan tujuan bersama. Oleh karena itu, Presiden mengajak para pemimpin dunia untuk melakukan perubahan.

“Mari bersama lakukan perubahan,” tandasnya.(jn/**)
