JELAJAHNEWS.ID – Peran petugas Posyandu berdampak langsung pada penurunan angka stunting.Untuk itu, Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Sumatera Utara (Sumut) akan terus memperkuat kapasitas petugas Posyandu lewat pelatihan.
Penguatan kapasitas petugas Posyandu yang dilakukan Pemprov Sumut, dalam rangka Integrasi Layanan Primer (ILP). ILP sendiri bertujuan untuk meningkatkan cakupan dan jangkauan pelayanan kesehatan primer.
“Ada tiga hal fokus ILP yaitu integrasi pelayanan, perluasan wilayah, serta memperkuat pemantauan wilayah. Bila ini dilakukan dengan benar dan secara menyeluruh akan sangat berdampak pada penurunan stunting,” kata Pj Ketua TP PKK Sumut Dessy Hassanudin , pada acara Peningkatan Kapasitas Petugas Posyandu dalam Rangka ILP di Hotel Grand Antares, Jalan Sisingamangaraja Nomor 328, Medan, Rabu (22/5/2024).
Dessy Hassanudin berharap, para peserta benar-benar mengikuti pelatihan ini sehingga mendapatkan ilmu baru. Kemudian ilmu tersebut bisa diterapkan langsung di tengah-tengah masyarakat untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan.
“Bapak dan ibu akan menuntut ilmu dari para ahlinya, jadi saya harap jangan disia-siakan, karena akan sangat berguna untuk masyarakat kita, memantau kesehatan anak-anak kita,” kata Dessy Hassanudin.
Sementara itu, menurut Kabid Kesehatan Masyarakat Dinas Kesehatan Pemprov Sumut Hamid Rizal, kegiatan ini dilakukan selama tiga hari, yang diikuti seluruh petugas Posyandu Sumut. Diharapkan, peserta bisa menjadi pelopor peduli kesehatan di lingkungannya masing-masing.
“Diharapkan petugas Posyandu yang mengikuti kegiatan ini menjadi pelopor di lingkungannya untuk meningkatkan kepedulian masyarakat pada kesehatan, terutama pada kesehatan anak-anak kita karena kita saat ini sedang memperkuat penurunan angka stunting,” kata Hamid Rizal.(jns)
