JELAJAHNEWS.ID – Gubernur Sumatera Utara (Gubsu) Edy Rahmayadi melepas peserta Fun Run dalam rangka memperingati Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) ke-77 Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI) Angkatan Laut (AL), dan mendoakan TNI AL tetap berjaya dalam menjaga kedaulatan negara di seluruh perairan Indonesia.

“Saya selaku Gubernur Sumut, dan seluruh rakyat Sumut, mengucapkan selamat merayakan ulang tahun ke-77, dan mendoakan agar TNI terkhusus angkatan laut semakin kuat, jayalah terus, karena tugas kalian itu menjaga rakyat Indonesia,” kata Edy Rahmayadi di Mako Lantamal I, Jalan Serma Hanafiah Nomor 1, Belawan, Minggu (11/9/2022).

Menurut Gubsu, dengan kuatnya TNI AL laut berarti perairan Sumut, Selat Malaka khususnya bisa terjaga, walau dengan segala keterbatasan (sarana dan prasarana) yang dimiliki TNI AL. Untuk itu, Edy berharap, dukungan semua pihak agar TNI AL tetap tidak patah semangat, dan memaksimalkan potensi yang ada untuk menjaga perairan Indonesia.

Sementara Komandan Pangkalan Utama TNI Angkatan Laut (Danlantamal) I Laksamana Pertama TNI Johanes Djanarko Wibowo mengatakan Fun Run yang menempuh jarak 7,7 km tersebut merupakan rangkaian perayaan HUT ke-77 TNI AL. Melibatkan ribuan peserta dari TNI/Polri, pelajar dan masyarakat.

“Kita melaksanakan kegiatan ini betul-betul fun (gembira) meskipun ada run-nya (lari), tapi yang utamanya adalah fun-nya bagi kita semua, bukan hanya angkatan laut saja, tetapi seluruh masyarakat Sumut, terkhusus warga Belawan,” katanya.

Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga untuk mempersatukan serta menjaga kebersamaan TNI dengan masyarakat, yang sekian tahun tidak adanya kegiatan seperti ini akibat Covid-19. Danlantamal juga mengucapkan terima kasih dan apresiasi atas dukungan semua pihak, sehingga pelaksanaan Fun Run ini dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan aman.

“Terima kasih Pak Gubernur dengan teman-teman Forkopimda atas kehadirannya, semoga ini menjadi penyemarak dan penyemangat kami kedepannya,” ungkapnya.

Muslim, salah satu peserta mengucapkan apresiasi atas dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini. “Senang bisa ikuti kegiatan ini karena ini bagus dan positif untuk keluarga, bisa mengajarkan anak untuk hidup sehat dengan berolahraga;” katanya.

Adapun rute Fun Run tersebut, start dari Mako Lantamal I, kemudian Jalan Bunga, Jalan Pelabuhan 2, Jalan Kampar, Jalan Pelabuhan Deli dan finish kembali di Mako Lantamal I. Fun Run berakhir dengan hiburan dan pembagian hadian Doorprize 7 unit sepeda motor, Sepeda Gunung. Kulkas dan TV.(jns)
