JELAJAHNEWS.ID – Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) RI secara resmi mengesahkan Revisi Undang-Undang (RUU) Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI) dalam rapat paripurna yang digelar hari ini.
Komisi I DPR RI sebelumnya telah menyelesaikan pembahasan RUU Perubahan atas Undang-Undang Nomor 34 Tahun 2004 tentang TNI pada tingkat pertama. Dengan persetujuan tersebut, RUU ini kemudian dibawa ke paripurna untuk mendapatkan pengesahan menjadi undang-undang.
“Ya, RUU TNI dibawa ke paripurna hari ini,” ujar Wakil Ketua Komisi I DPR RI, Dave Laksono, saat dikonfirmasi Rabu (19/3/2025) malam.
Agenda Pengesahan di Paripurna
Rapat pengesahan dilaksanakan di ruang paripurna Gedung Nusantara II, Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto, Jakarta Pusat, pukul 09.30 WIB. Selain pengesahan RUU TNI, agenda paripurna juga mencakup beberapa hal penting lainnya.
- Pendapat Fraksi-Fraksi: DPR RI akan mendengarkan pandangan fraksi-fraksi terhadap 10 RUU tentang Kabupaten/Kota yang diusulkan oleh Komisi II DPR RI.
- Keputusan RUU Inisiatif: Pengambilan keputusan terhadap 10 RUU tersebut menjadi RUU inisiatif DPR RI.
- Perubahan UU PPMI: Pengesahan RUU tentang Perubahan Ketiga atas Undang-Undang Nomor 18 Tahun 2017 mengenai Perlindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PPMI), yang merupakan usul inisiatif Badan Legislasi DPR RI.
Proses Sebelum Pengesahan
Sebelum sampai ke tahap ini, Komisi I DPR RI telah melakukan pembahasan secara intensif bersama pemerintah. Dalam rapat kerja tingkat I yang digelar pada Selasa (18/3), Komisi I dan pemerintah menyepakati untuk membawa RUU TNI ke tingkat II atau paripurna guna disahkan menjadi undang-undang.
Rapat tersebut dihadiri oleh berbagai pihak, termasuk Menteri Hukum dan HAM Supratman Andi Agtas, Wakil Menteri Pertahanan Marsekal Madya TNI (Purn) Donny Ermawan Taufanto, serta perwakilan dari Kementerian Sekretariat Negara dan Kementerian Keuangan. Seluruh fraksi dari delapan partai politik di DPR RI juga turut hadir.
Ketua Komisi I DPR RI, Utut Adianto, menyampaikan bahwa pembahasan RUU TNI telah melibatkan berbagai pemangku kepentingan. “Kami telah mengundang semua stakeholder, termasuk Panglima TNI serta para Kepala Staf Angkatan Darat, Laut, dan Udara. Panja, Tim Perumus, dan Tim Sinkronisasi juga telah menyampaikan laporannya,” ujar Utut.
Dengan pengesahan ini, diharapkan implementasi revisi UU TNI dapat memperkuat peran TNI dalam menjaga kedaulatan dan keamanan nasional.(jn/**)
