JELAJAHNEWS.ID – Wakil Ketua DPRD Sumatera Utara (Sumut), Sutarto, mengimbau masyarakat agar mengutamakan keselamatan tatkala kembali dari kampung halaman menuju kota asal untuk beraktivitas kembali.

Sekretaris DPD Sumut PDI Perjuangan itu menyebut, puncak arus balik terjadi pada 5 hingga 7 April 2025, diprediksi melibatkan jumlah kendaraan yang banyak dalam waktu singkat.

“Kita harus mengelola dengan baik, memitigasii risiko kecelakaan meningkat akibat kepadatan lalu lintas, kelelahan pengemudi, titik-titik rawan longsor atau kondisi jalan yang kurang maksimal,” tutur Sutarto, Minggu (6/4/5025).

Sutarto meminta seluruh pihak untuk maksimal dalam mengawal puncak arus balik ini.

“Pemprovsu, melalui dishub, BPBD, juga kepolisian dan pemda setempat agar masyarakat dapat kembali ke tempat asal dengan nyaman,” jelasnya.

Menurutnya, koordinasi yang baik antar semua pihak akan menciptakan arus balik yang aman dan nyaman bagi semua masyarakat.

Sutarto juga meminta kesiapan tenaga medis dan fasilitas kesehatan di titik-titik sepanjang jalur yang dipakai arus mudik di Sumatera Utara.

“Tenaga medis dan faskes harus tersedia untuk memberikan pelayanan ke masyarakat yang membutuhkan,” ucapnya.

Ia juga mengimbau kepada masyarakat yang berangkat dari kampung halaman agar tetap disiplin dalam berkendara demi keselamatan bersama dan selamat sampai tujuan.

“Utamakan keselamatan, bila kondisi lelah saat mengemudi ada baiknya istirahat pada tempat yang telah disediakan seperti rest area,” jelasnya.(jns/**)
