JELAJAHNEWS.ID – Pasar makanan beku di Indonesia kini telah mencapai Rp 200 triliun, dengan pertumbuhan signifikan yang didorong oleh gaya hidup urban yang sibuk . Perubahan preferensi konsumen ini tercermin dalam perubahan tren konsumsi makanan beku, yang semakin populer di kalangan masyarakat.

Menurut survei Jakpat terhadap 1.245 responden mengungkapkan tren konsumsi makanan beku di Indonesia. Hasilnya memberikan gambaran tentang kategori produk yang diminati, alasan konsumen memilih makanan beku, serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keputusan pembelian.

Konsumsi Makanan Beku dan Alasan Memilihnya

Makanan beku hadir dalam berbagai kategori, dengan olahan daging seperti sosis, nugget, dan bakso menjadi pilihan utama yang disukai oleh 91% responden. Selain itu, 63% responden juga mengonsumsi camilan beku seperti kentang goreng dan donat. Sebanyak 57% responden membeli daging beku, sedangkan 31% lainnya mengonsumsi sayur dan buah beku.

Alasan utama 86% orang mengonsumsi makanan beku karena kemudahan dalam persiapannya. Selain itu, penyimpanan yang mudah dan masa simpan yang panjang menjadi alasan berikutnya. Fenomena ini lebih banyak dirasakan oleh generasi Milenial yang cenderung mencari cara praktis dalam menjalani aktivitas sehari-hari.

Research Lead Jakpat, Septiana Widi Sugiastuti berpendapat bahwa target pasar konsumen makanan beku adalah kaum urban Milenial yang mencari makanan praktis yang mudah disiapkan, disimpan, dan memiliki rasa yang enak.

“Promosi produk dengan menonjolkan USP (Unique Selling Proposition) seperti kepraktisan, kebersihan, dan nilai gizi dapat menjadi alternatif kampanye yang efektif, sementara desain produk yang menggambarkan kesegaran dan kualitas premium juga dapat menarik perhatian konsumen,” ungkap Septiana.

Nilai Gizi pada Makanan Beku

Informasi mengenai nilai gizi yang menunjukkan bahwa produk tidak mengandung pengawet dianggap penting oleh 63% responden. Selain itu, 57% responden menganggap kandungan protein yang tinggi sebagai nilai tambah, sementara 55% lainnya memperhatikan produk tersebut tidak mengandung pewarna tambahan dan bahan kimia.

Orang tua cenderung lebih memperhatikan informasi nilai gizi pada makanan beku dibandingkan dengan responden yang tidak memiliki anak.

Sebanyak 42% responden yang memiliki anak memeriksa nilai gizi dengan frekuensi selalu atau sering, sementara hanya 31% responden tanpa anak yang melakukan hal yang sama.

Kekhawatiran orang tua mengenai kualitas nutrisi dalam makanan beku ini juga direspons oleh Septiana.

“Penting bagi pemasar untuk menekankan bahwa pembekuan modern dapat menjaga kandungan nutrisi makanan dengan baik, jika dilakukan dengan metode yang tepat seperti flash freezing. Metode ini mampu menjaga kualitas nutrisi seperti vitamin dan mineral, serta mempertahankan rasa dan tekstur makanan,” jelasnya.(jn/**)
