JELAJAHNEWS.ID – PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) meraih penghargaan dalam ajang Asian Banking & Finance (ABF) Wholesale Banking Awards 2024, Kamis (4/7/2024). Dalam ajang tersebut, BTN meraih penghargaan pada kategori Indonesia Domestic Technology & Operations Bank of the Year.

“Kami sangat mengapresiasi penghargaan yang diberikan oleh Asian Banking & Finance (ABF). Penghargaan ini menjadi motivasi untuk mendorong peningkatan dan perbaikan yang akan kami terus lakukan,” jelas Direktur Utama BTN Nixon LP Napitupulu dalam keterangan tertulisnya, Kamis (4/7/2024).

Menurut Nixon, penghargaan tersebut menjadi bukti pencapaian milestone transformasi digital yang sudah dilakukan BTN secara terstruktur dan terencana dengan baik.

BTN, masih kata Nixon, sebagai perusahaan dalam jasa sektor keuangan memastikan bahwa kesinambungan antara teknologi informasi dan operasional perusahaan merupakan hasil dari kerjasama, koordinasi dan kolaborasi dari seluruh pihak baik dalam lingkungan perusahaan maupun dukungan dari seluruh nasabah dan pengguna jasa keuangan dari BTN.

Sementara itu, Direktur Information Technology BTN Andi Nirwoto menambahkan, diraihnya penghargaan ABF Wholesale Banking Awards 2024 oleh BTN dikarenakan, perseroan senantiasa mengedepankan penggunaan teknologi informasi dalam memberikan layanan perbankan yang terpercaya dan handal.

Orkestrasi teknologi informasi dalam segala aspek operasional perusahaan baik dari pelayanan pelanggan maupun efisiensi dalam pemprosesan transaksi bisnis mendorong BTN untuk terus memperbaiki diri dan meningkatkan kemampuan dan kapasitas penyelenggaraan teknologi informasi yang terbaik di Indonesia.

“Penghargaan dari ABF Wholesale Banking Awards 2024 sebagai Indonesia Domestic Technology & Operations Bank of the Year merupakan salah satu bukti keberhasilan BTN dalam mewujudkan visinya menjadi Bank terbaik dalam penyelenggaraan teknologi informasi di Indonesia,” tegas Andi usai menerima penghargaan ABF Wholesale Banking Awards 2024 di Singapura, Kamis (4/7/2024).

Andi mengungkapkan, penghargaan dalam kemampuan teknologi dan operasional menunjukkan kemampuan BTN untuk bisa menjalankan layanan perbankan secara efisien dan efektif.

Kemampuan untuk bisa mencapai keseimbangan penyelenggaraan teknologi informasi dan operasional ini menunjukkan BTN sangat matang dalam pengembangan teknologi informasi dengan memastikan aspek keamanan data, aspek ketahanan dan aspek inovasi dengan baik.

“Menjadi Bank terdepan dalam penyelenggaraan teknologi informasi khususnya di Indonesia merupakan visi BTN yang menjadi bagian yang tidak bisa dipisahkan, secara integral dalam setiap gerak langkah BTN,” katanya.

Andi menegaskan, kunci BTN dalam mendapatkan penghargaan adalah implementasi inovasi yang berkelanjutan. Pasalnya inovasi adalah fondasi yang menjadikan BTN sebagai bank terdepan dalam penyelenggaraan teknologi informasi di Indonesia.

Inovasi dilakukan dalam segala lapisan penyelenggaraan bisnis, teknologi dan operasional.

Saat ini, lanjut dia, BTN fokus pada adopsi emerging technology seperti Artificial Intelligence yang mendorong peningkatan layanan yang lebih cerdas, cepat, efisien dan berorientasi pada pelanggan.

“BTN memastikan diri untuk menjadi pemain terdepan dalam adopsi teknologi perbankan di Indonesia,” paparnya.

Untuk mengimplementasikan sistem teknologi informasi (TI) yang andal, Andi menegaskan, BTN mengganggarkan sekitar 8% untuk implementasi inovasi TI yang meliputi peningkatan dan pengembangan inovasi TI meliputi Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Open API, Machine Learning.

“BTN menyiapkan investasi dalam inovasi TI tidak hanya pada BTN tapi juga termasuk pada ekosistem digital BTN dengan tujuan tidak hanya untuk percepatan teknologi di BTN tapi juga pada sektor jasa keuangan di Indonesia,” pungkas Andi.(jn/**)
